Elke Weber named 2018 AAAS Fellow

Nov. 28, 2018

Professor Weber, the Gerhard R. Andlinger Professor in Energy and the Environment and a professor of psychology and public affairs, has been named 2018 fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) for her scientifically or socially distinguished work.

This prestigious recognition is for research on decision-making under uncertainty, advancing its applications to real-world problems (especially climate change), and for wise leadership across diverse professional societies.

New fellows will be honored Feb. 16 during the 2019 AAAS Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and in the AAAS News & Notes section of the Nov. 29 issue of Science.
