Professor Joel Cooper is the 2017 recipient of the Distinguished Scientific Contribution award from the Society for Personality and Social Psychology. 

The award honors psychologists who have made major theoretical and empirical contributions to our understanding of attitudes, persuasion, and social influence. 

Professor Cooper will be honored at the 2016 SPSP Attitudes and Social Influence Pre-conference in San Antonio, TX in January.
