Event Description
A Conversation on ‘Good’ Psychological Science
We all want to be doing “good” science. But what does this mean? Who decides what it is? What are the implications of how we understand it? This presentation will include a brief overview of the central, although often invisible, properties of “good” psychological science, along with a set of arguments for why these properties have restricted advancement in the field. A moderated discussion with the audience will follow the brief presentation.
