"Wading through faces: Perceptual expertise & social information processing in early development"

In many cases, faces are one of the most important or prioritized cues in our social world. As a result of this importance, face processing expertise develops quickly in the first year of life. This talk will illustrate my interdisciplinary approach integrating perceptual and social perspectives to investigate the way infants’ perceive and represent people in their social world.
